Poetry: Winter

Winter

Snow covers the ground,
Crystalline facets
Glow in the light.

Stars twinkle above my eyes,
Glowing incandescently
Fading with the night.

Winter is here:
It’s grip firm and bold
Only to fade to Spring’s might.

A breath of cold air
And Spring awaits,
Waiting for the right.

Soothing forces continue
Through the air,
Leaving Winter without a fight.

Grant us this day
And all the time ahead,
As I look forward toward the sight.

Oopps! It’s been over a year… #Musings

I go onto my blog site and realized that I haven’t posted in over a year. Ooops!

I actually wrote more poetry but I’m not exactly sure where I put it. It was in the middle of the night. ┬áI’ll have to find it and post. Probably #Evernote. ┬áI love that program.

We are back in the house after the fire. See post here.

Round one of insurance completed, and 2nd and final round will be happening soon. I was laid off, searched for work, and found a new job since my last post. Most know if you follow me on Facebook or G+ as I regularly update there.  Well, more often than here obviously.

I was messing around with domains (I have a spare) and so I’ll probably point it to here for the time being: http://www.whaley-design.org.

Perhaps I will post more poetry and such.
