Well, this is the last day for the #escapril2022 poetry challenge. I’m glad I was able to finish, even if there were a few days when I didn’t write/post on the day of. I did finish, which is an accomplishment in itself.
It will certainly not be the last time I post poetry. It has been fun and I want to continue to do write poetry as the muse inspires. It will likely not be daily, unless there’s another challenge I stumble upon. So, be on the lookout for more poems.
it's getting dark the last melon has been eaten it's the final curtain this month has been beaten look to the stars as night falls while it's dark that's not a pitfall it may be the last poem of the month of April; I think I will make poetry posting a staple it's been fun it's been real I hope you enjoyed my zeal while it might be the last #escapril post primarily for #Instagram @letsescpril shines this by no means going to be the last sign ©Kim Whaley 4/30/2022 Instagram: @k.whaley
Stay safe everyone and I look forward to May flowers. Perhaps there will be, another poem inspired by me. *wink*
One day, when I’ve compiled all of the poems I’ve written over the years I might follow a friend’s footsteps and publish my poems to a book. We’ll see.
